Capcom has revealed that Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics has officially crossed the one million sales mark worldwide.

The collection first arrived on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on September 12, 2024, before making its way to Xbox One on February 4, 2025.

Packed with nostalgia, it includes seven fan-favorite games:

  • X‑Men: Children of the Atom (1994)

  • Marvel Super Heroes (1995)

  • X‑Men vs. Street Fighter (1996)

  • Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter (1997)

  • Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes (1998)

  • Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes (2000)

  • The Punisher (1993)

Features Built for Today’s Players

Capcom didn’t just throw these games onto modern consoles; they added features that make them feel fresh while still respecting their arcade roots.

Every title comes with online ranked, casual, and lobby matches supported by rollback netcode for smoother gameplay. That means you and I can hop in without worrying about clunky lag ruining the fun.

Other additions include global high-score leaderboards, Training Modes, and a Spectator Mode if you just want to watch matches. For those who love extras, there’s a music jukebox, in-game museum, and display filters that give the collection even more replay value.

It's available at $49.99, both digital and physical editions.

Capcom has also pushed another retro revival with Capcom Fighting Collection 2, which features games like Capcom vs. SNK 2, Capcom Fighting Evolution, Power Stone, and Project Justice. It's available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) at $40.
