A fresh set of domain registrations may have revealed upcoming in-game websites for Grand Theft Auto VI, giving fans a sneak peek into the kinds of features Rockstar might be cooking up.
On September 8, well-known insider Tez2 shared findings that Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, recently registered a batch of suspicious-looking web domains. According to him, these could very well be tied to GTA 6’s in-game internet, much like we’ve seen in GTA IV and GTA V.
Tez2 wrote on GTA Forums: “I came across some domains all registered on May 27 under Take-Two’s nameservers that seem to be VI-related. These domains could be in-game sites that R [Rockstar Games] may redirect to VI’s page later on, like what we’ve seen with IV and V. Or some could be completely unrelated instead.”
So, what kind of sites are we looking at here? A few are pretty straightforward parodies:
what-up.app – a spoof of WhatsApp, which had already been spotted in earlier leaks.
rydeme.app – clearly inspired by Uber or Lyft, possibly letting players hail rides within the game.
buckme.app – this one is still debated; it could parody Cash App, Patreon, or even a dating app like Tinder.
brianandbradley.com – likely a high-end clothing brand.
hookers-galore.com – no explanation needed, considering GTA’s long-running adult humor.
leonidagov.org – possibly tied to Leonida’s in-game government systems.
wipeoutcornskin.com and myboyhasacreepycorndog.com – both sound bizarre, which fits Rockstar’s tradition of oddball side content and internet satire.
The inclusion of these sites suggests Rockstar is once again going all-in on parody culture and satire, one of GTA’s defining features. Having an in-game ride-share app, for instance, makes perfect sense since taxis have long been part of the franchise’s travel system.
Meanwhile, the adult and luxury lifestyle sites could hint at story missions, possibly involving Lucia, one of the main characters.
At the moment, Rockstar hasn’t confirmed anything, so it’s all speculation. Still, with GTA 6 less than a year away, it feels like we’re getting closer to a bigger info drop.
GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on May 26, 2026, on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X/S.
