Skate Story Release Date, Times, Price, and PS Plus Details Explained

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Sam Eng have confirmed that Skate Story, the surreal skateboarding adventure, will officially launch on December 8, 2025.
The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2, with PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers getting day-one access at no additional cost.
Originally announced in 2022, Skate Story quickly caught attention for its striking visuals and unusual premise. You don’t just play as a skater—you play as an underworld demon made of “glass and pain.” The demon is handed a skateboard by the Devil and given a single, bizarre mission: “Skate to the Moon and swallow it—then you shall be freed.” From there, the game becomes a mix of fast-paced skating, boss encounters, and emotional storytelling wrapped in neon-soaked cosmic landscapes.
