Steal A Brainrot, Roblox’s fastest-rising hit, has suddenly removed its most recognizable character, Tung Tung Tung Sahur.
The game has been one of the biggest cultural explosions Roblox has ever seen. Just last weekend, Steal A Brainrot recorded over 24 million concurrent players, making it the most-played Roblox title of all time.
Part of that success has been tied to its bizarre mascots. Characters like Tung Tung, Tralalelo Tralala, and Burr Burr Patapim have become online sensations, showing up in TikToks, memes, and spin-off Roblox games like Brainrot Evolution.
What made them stand out was their surreal design, created with AI image tools, which gave the whole trend a strange yet oddly appealing vibe.
But over the weekend of September 13, players noticed something odd: Tung Sahur was gone. His ramp entrance, in-game presence, and even references across Steal A Brainrot had completely disappeared.
According to Roblox YouTuber KreekCraft, Tung Tung’s removal wasn’t just limited to this game; he was also wiped from other brainrot projects like Brainrot Evolution.
Shortly after, Momentum Lab, the agency representing creator Noxaasht, released a statement clarifying why this happened.
They explained that Noxa himself didn’t push for the removal. Instead, Steal A Brainrot’s developer Sammy pulled the character because of ongoing licensing disputes. The agency described Tung Tung as copyrighted intellectual property and claimed the game was generating millions in revenue using their creation without a proper license.
Right now, nobody knows for sure if Tung Tung will return. Momentum Lab has said they are “open for discussion” and expressed interest in bringing the mascot back once negotiations settle.
