Elden Ring: Nightreign has topped the U.S. sales charts for June 2025.
According to the latest data from Circana, FromSoftware's dark fantasy sequel continued to dominate well into its second month on the market. It launched on May 30, yet managed to top the May charts with just two days of sales.
Globally, Nightreign has been on a tear. It sold 3.5 million copies worldwide in its first week, with a significant chunk of that coming from the U.S. market. As per Alinea Analytics, it’s now the fourth best-selling game on PS5 worldwide with 1.4 million units sold just on that platform.
While Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Mario Kart World made strong debuts at second and third place, respectively. Despite having exclusives — one for PlayStation and one for Nintendo — they still pulled impressive numbers on their own turf.
June also saw the arrival of a few new faces in the top 20. Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma debuted at 10th, showcasing the franchise’s niche but loyal fan base. Meanwhile, Stellar Blade saw a massive jump in rankings — from 185th in May to 5th in June — thanks to its PC launch on June 11. The game sold over 1 million copies on PC during its debut week, marking a successful expansion beyond its initial PlayStation release.
Several older titles also saw renewed interest. The original Elden Ring surged from 24th to 13th, likely due to players revisiting the game after Nightreign's launch. Even Cyberpunk 2077 made a surprising leap from 427th to 18th, fueled by its new version released for Switch 2.
In contrast, six titles dropped out of the top 20 this month, including Doom: The Dark Ages, PGA Tour 2K25, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, F1 25, Helldivers 2, and The Last of Us: Part II.
