Focus Entertainment has officially unveiled the second year of post-launch content for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, confirming details for patches 10 through 15.
The rollout begins with the game’s Anniversary Update on September 4, which marks the start of a new season packed with gameplay additions, cosmetics, and expansions.
The Anniversary Update, arriving as patch 10, is shaping up to be one of the game’s largest updates yet. Players can expect a new PvP mode featuring the monstrous Helbrute, three fresh weapons, and a new enemy in the form of the Chaos Spawn.
On top of that, fans of the Black Templars can look forward to the Champion Pack DLC, while the Imperial Fists will receive a massive cosmetic bundle that celebrates not only their Chapter but also their many Successor Chapters.
From there, the Year 2 roadmap extends well into mid-2026. Patch 11 through patch 15 will introduce a steady stream of content ranging from new PvE missions and arenas to entirely new progression mechanics. One of the most anticipated highlights is the introduction of the Techmarine class, set to arrive in the first quarter of 2026 alongside the Omnissiah Axe weapon. The same period will also bring the Battle Barge expansion, giving players a new large-scale experience.
The roadmap also teases new enemies and bosses, including the terrifying Mutalith Vortex Beast, first revealed in the Year 2 trailer. Other weapon additions, such as the Pyreblaster, Pyrecannon, Power Axe, Combi-Melta, and the mysterious Xenophase Blade, will provide players with more options to refine their combat strategies. The Xenophase Blade, in particular, is linked to Deathwatch warriors and crafted with alien technology, making it one of the more unique additions.
Season Pass II will further expand customization, delivering nine DLC packs across the year. These packs will spotlight both well-known Chapters like the Blood Angels and Salamanders, as well as fan-favorites such as the Raptors, Iron Hands, and Carcharodons. Each DLC introduces new skins, armor pieces, and heraldry markings, ensuring players have plenty of personalization choices while stepping into battle.
The content doesn’t just stop at cosmetics. With four new Operations, a brand-new Siege map, multiple Eternal War arenas, and additional PvE and PvP modes, Year 2 aims to keep the action fast-paced and fresh. According to Focus Entertainment, all gameplay updates will be free, ensuring the community stays active while cosmetic DLC offers additional variety for those who want to go further.

It’s also worth noting that developer Saber Interactive isn’t just focused on updates for Space Marine 2. Reports suggest that work on Space Marine 3 is already underway, though details remain under wraps.
Anniversary Update is launching September 4 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
