Epic Games has all but confirmed that Fortnite Winterfest 2025 will kick off on December 18, bringing back the annual holiday event that has become a staple of the battle royale. A teaser released earlier this week showcased a cozy fireplace, a decorated tree, and stockings in the colors of the four Hogwarts houses, hinting at an already confirmed Harry Potter crossover.

Winterfest arrives as a festive attraction designed to keep fans engaged throughout the holiday season. According to leakers, the event will follow the familiar format of previous years, offering daily gifts and themed cosmetics that can be claimed until early January.

While Epic has yet to reveal the full list of rewards, the Harry Potter tie-in looks set to be a central feature. The teaser highlighted stockings in Gryffindor red, Slytherin green, Ravenclaw blue, and Hufflepuff yellow — clear nods to cosmetics inspired by the Wizarding World.

Winterfest 2025 may also include additional collaborations. Dataminers recently uncovered evidence of a Bleach crossover, and Epic essentially confirmed the news with a trailer, "Something is coming," on December 14. The footage showcased Ichigo Kurosaki’s iconic sword and anime artwork, with skins scheduled to release on December 20. The timing strongly suggests that Bleach cosmetics will be part of the Winterfest lineup.

Rumors also point to Hatsune Miku making a return with a winter-themed skin, complete with a white outfit and new emotes. She may even appear as an NPC, similar to Mariah Carey’s cameo in past events.
