WWE 2K25 Is Coming to Mobile via Netflix Games — First Details Revealed

WWE 2K25 is officially making its way to mobile through Netflix Games later this year. After months of silence following its initial reveal in January, the first details and screenshots for WWE 2K25: Netflix Edition have now surfaced courtesy of a new Google Play Store listing.

What Is WWE 2K25: Netflix Edition?

As per the store description, WWE 2K25: Netflix Edition is a mobile port of the latest installment in 2K’s wrestling franchise. While it won’t include every feature from its console counterpart, it promises an action-packed experience optimized for touch controls and mobile performance.

According to the listing, players can “experience action-packed WWE matches, dynamic broadcast-style gameplay, authentic arena entrances, and immersive commentary from WWE announcers in the palm of your hand.”

Much like other Netflix mobile releases, you’ll need an active Netflix subscription to play. The game also supports custom touchscreen controls and online multiplayer.

Which WWE Superstars Are Included?

One of the highlights of the Netflix Edition is its roster of over 40 WWE Superstars, spanning both current champions and all-time legends. You’ll be able to play as stars from RAW and SmackDown, including Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins, The Rock, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The game will let you rise through the ranks with your chosen Superstar, boosting stats through victories and unlocking achievements across various modes.

There will also be intergender matches, as one screenshot features Jade Cargill facing Solo Sikova.

What Game Modes Are Available?

WWE 2K25: Netflix Edition offers several ways to jump into the action:

• Career Mode – Build your wrestler’s legacy, level up through matches, and fight for championship titles.

• PvP Matches – Compete in 1-on-1 or 2-on-2 online showdowns against real players.

• Quick Play – Dive into classic WWE match types in single-player mode, complete with adjustable difficulty for offline fun.

Each victory contributes to your Superstar’s progression, giving the mobile version a sense of long-term progression similar to its console version, though scaled for shorter play sessions.

So far, it hasn't been confirmed whether The Island (an open-world–style hub) or The Bloodline’s Dynasty Showcase (celebrating the legendary Anoa’i family) mode will be included in this edition.

When Will WWE 2K25: Netflix Edition Release?

As of now, no official release date has been announced for WWE 2K25: Netflix Edition. Even searching for the game on mobile stores might not yield results yet, suggesting it’s still in the rollout phase.

Given that Netflix typically releases its licensed games gradually across regions, fans might see WWE 2K25 appear in select markets before a wider global launch later in Fall 2025.
