Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut

Players owning the digital PS4, Xbox One, or Steam version by December 8 at 08:29 AM PT can upgrade to the new edition for:

  • $14.99 USD (regular price: $49.99 USD)

This upgrade is only valid within the same platform family—PS4 → PS5, Xbox One → Xbox Series, and Steam → Steam. SEGA also confirmed that save data will not transfer, and the offer does not apply to subscription services or physical copies.

The Director’s Cut of Yakuza 0 comes with several new features, including additional cutscenes, an online cooperative mode called “Red Light Raid”, and an English dub. Language support has also been expanded to include French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian. Fans will be pleased to know that the theme song “Bubble”, missing from the original western release, has now been added.

Yakuza Kiwami

Digital owners on PS4 or Xbox One by December 8 at 08:59 AM PT can upgrade for:

  • $1.99 USD (regular price: $19.99 USD)

Yakuza Kiwami is also receiving enhancements, including expanded language support and the addition of songs “Receive You [Reborn]” and “Bleed”, which were absent from the western release.

A Steam version with the new language support will also launch on December 8, though upgrade details for PC players will be shared after release. As with the other titles, subscription-based versions and physical discs are not eligible.

Yakuza Kiwami 2

This is the most generous upgrade SEGA is offering. Digital PS4 and Xbox One owners by December 8 at 09:00 AM PT can move to the PS5 or Xbox Series edition:

  • At no cost (a free upgrade)

A Steam version with extended language options arrives shortly after, with upgrade information coming post-launch.
