Blue Prince has officially landed on Nintendo Switch 2 today.
The announcement was made during Nintendo’s latest Indie World broadcast, which wrapped up with the reveal of the game’s shadow drop on the eShop.

Originally released in April 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, Blue Prince is the work of solo developer Tonda Ros.
The game invites players to explore an ever-shifting mansion, piecing together blueprints to uncover hidden rooms and secrets. Each day brings a new layout, keeping the mystery fresh and challenging. The central goal is to discover the elusive Room 46.
Blue Prince has already earned widespread acclaim. It was named Eurogamer’s 2025 Game of the Year and picked up honors at the New York Game Awards 2026 for Best Indie Game. It also won at the DICE Awards for best indie and best design, while securing nominations at The Game Awards 2025 and Indie Game Awards 2025.
According to the store listing, the Switch 2 version comes with a launch discount (of 34%), priced at $19.79 / £16.49 compared to the regular $29.99 / £24.99, with the sale running until March 12, 2026.
With a file size of just 3.8 GB, the game is easy to download and jump into.
