Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s upcoming live concert series sold out almost immediately after tickets went on sale. Sales began on September 9, and by September 11, every seat was gone.

For those who missed out, there’s still good news. Developer Sandfall Interactive has already confirmed that an international concert series is in the works for 2026, giving fans across the globe a chance to experience one of gaming’s most celebrated soundtracks live on stage.

The game’s Belle Époque-inspired soundtrack has been one of its biggest success stories, racking up over 30 million Spotify streams since launch. It’s not every day that a video game score breaks into mainstream music charts, but this one managed to top the Billboard Classical Album Chart in several European countries and even held France’s No. 1 spot for three weeks straight.

Expedition 33 itself, which launched on April 24, 2025, has been nothing short of a phenomenon. Within just 33 days, the game sold 3.3 million copies worldwide, making it one of the fastest-selling new IPs of the year. Critics praised its painterly art style, deeply emotional storytelling, and innovative turn-based combat.

But as much as players love the game, the music has become a cultural moment of its own. Composer Lorien Testard, together with vocalist Alice Duport-Percier and the Curieux Orchestra, crafted a score that’s being hailed as one of the most powerful in recent gaming history. When CDs and vinyl were released last month, fans snatched them up so quickly that both formats sold out in days. Some outlets are even calling it a frontrunner for Best Score/Music at The Game Awards 2025.

Now, that music is heading from headphones to the concert hall. The first French tour, titled Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – A Painted Symphony, will run later this year and feature live performances from Testard and Duport-Percier themselves. Produced by Bleu Citron Tournées, the concerts will also include dynamic visuals from the game, making the event more than just a concert — it’s shaping up to be a full-on immersive experience.

Tour dates are as follows:

  • Lyon – October 25

  • Paris – October 28 & 29

  • Montpellier – October 31

There is also a movie adaptation of Expedition 33 in work. Interestingly, it was announced before the game even hit store shelves — a clear sign of the studio’s confidence in its story and world-building.
