A concert tour for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has been officially announced — and it’s set to bring one of 2025’s most celebrated game soundtracks to life on stage.

The critically acclaimed RPG, developed by Sandfall Interactive, first launched on April 24, 2025 and quickly became a breakout hit. Within just 33 days, it sold 3.3 million copies worldwide, making it one of the fastest‑selling new IPs of the year. Critics praised its painterly art style, emotionally charged storytelling, and innovative turn‑based combat system, while players flocked to share their own in‑game “expedition stories” across social media. The game’s success also sparked discussions about a sequel, with the developers confirming that Expedition 33 is just one chapter in the larger Clair Obscur universe.

But beyond the gameplay, the soundtrack has taken on a life of its own. Composed by Lorien Testard and performed with vocalist Alice Duport‑Percier alongside the Curieux Orchestra, the score has been hailed as one of the most moving in recent gaming history. It topped the Billboard Classical Album Chart in multiple European countries, held the No. 1 spot in France for three consecutive weeks, and even broke into mainstream streaming charts. Fans have embraced both the CD and vinyl box set releases, which sold out their first production runs within days. Some outlets have already called it a frontrunner for “Best Score/Music” at this year’s Game Awards.

Now, that music is heading to the stage. The first official French concert tour — titled “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – A Painted Symphony” — will feature live orchestral performances of the game’s most iconic tracks, with Testard and Duport‑Percier themselves taking part. Produced by Bleu Citron Tournées in collaboration with Sandfall Interactive, the shows promise a fully immersive experience, blending live visuals from the game with the sweeping score that helped define it.

Tour Dates:

  • Lyon – October 25

  • Paris – October 28 & 29

  • Montpellier – October 31

Ticket sales open: September 9th, 10:00 a.m. CEST via expedition33.francebillet.com

Organizers have already hinted that more regions will be added in 2026, potentially expanding the tour to international venues. For fans of the game — or anyone who appreciates a powerful orchestral performance — this is shaping up to be one of the year’s must‑see events.
