Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launched worldwide on November 14, 2025, across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, and now the first season of post‑launch content is almost here. Season 1 officially goes live on December 4, 2025, bringing what Treyarch has described as “the biggest season in franchise history.”

The rollout is expected to begin at 11 AM CT, which translates to 9 AM PT, 12 PM ET, and 5 PM GMT. According to Call of Duty’s official X page, Warzone will also transition into its Black Ops 7 era on the same day, meaning both titles will share the same seasonal start.
So, what can we expect? Activision has already teased a massive roadmap.
Players will get 8 new multiplayer maps:
Utopia (Launch, New)
Fate (Launch, New)
Odysseus (Launch, New)
Standoff (Launch, Remaster)
Sleighjacked (In-Season, Remake)
Yakei (Mid-Season, New)
Meltdown (Mid-Season, Remaster)
Fringe (Mid-Season, Returning)
A brand‑new round‑based Zombies map called Astra Malorum, and two Survival experiences (EXIT 115 and Zarya Cosmodrom) will be added.
For those of us who love experimenting with loadouts, Season 1 introduces seven weapons:
Kogot-7 (SMG)
Maddox RFB (Assault Rifle)
Sokol 545 (LMG)
NX Ravager (Special)
Ballistic Knife (Melee)
Sturmwolf 45 (SMG)
Hawker HX (Sniper Rifle)
Classic multiplayer modes such as Sticks and Stones and Prop Hunt are also making a comeback, while Warzone fans will see full integration with Black Ops 7 content. That includes new weapons and a fresh Resurgence map, Haven’s Hollow, which should shake up the battle royale meta.
It’s worth noting that Activision hasn’t clarified which features will be available right at launch and which may roll out later in the season. Weekly challenges, endgame world events, and other surprises are also on the way, so there’s plenty to keep us busy.
