Final Nominees Announced for The Game Awards 2025 Players’ Voice Category

The Game Awards 2025 has revealed the final nominees for the Players’ Voice Award, a unique category where the winner is chosen entirely by fans. Unlike other awards decided by jury panels, this one is 100% community-driven, making it one of the most unpredictable and exciting honors of the night.
The five finalists are:

Dispatch
Genshin Impact
Hollow Knight: Silksong
Wuthering Waves
Voting for the last round began on December 8 and will close on December 10 at 6:00 PM PST / 9:00 PM EST / 2:00 AM GMT / 3:00 AM CET. Fans can cast their votes directly on the official Game Awards website, selecting the one title they believe deserves the crown.
The Players’ Voice category started with Round 1 (Dec 1–2) allowed fans to pick 10 favorites from a pool of 30 nominees. Round 2 (Dec 4) narrowed the list to 10 games, with voters choosing five. Finally, Round 3 (Dec 8–10) presents the top five contenders, with fans voting for a single winner.
The Favorites
Two titles stand out as frontrunners. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has already made history as the most-nominated game ever at The Game Awards, securing 13 nominations in total. Alongside Players’ Voice, it’s up for Game of the Year, Best Art Direction, Best Audio Design, Best Narrative, Best RPG, and more.
Meanwhile, Hollow Knight: Silksong continues to capture attention with its sixth nomination this year. In addition to Players’ Voice, it’s competing for Game of the Year, Best Art Direction, Best Score & Music, Best Action/Adventure Game, and Best Independent Game. Its long-awaited release and loyal fanbase make it a strong contender.
Dispatch, Genshin Impact, and Wuthering Waves round out the list, each backed by passionate communities. While they may not have the same nomination count as the frontrunners, the Players’ Voice category is unpredictable—whichever fanbase rallies hardest could secure victory.
