PlayStation has officially revealed its lineup for Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2025, which takes place from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
The gaming giant is set to highlight two of its most anticipated upcoming titles, giving fans a chance to experience them hands-on before release.
This marks PlayStation’s second consecutive year back at TGS after skipping the event between 2020 and 2023. Last year’s return brought heavy hitters like Monster Hunter Wilds, Astro Bot, and a fresh look at Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. While the company hasn’t revealed any stage showcases yet, the confirmed lineup already has fans buzzing.
PlayStation’s Main Booth Highlights
The centerpiece of PlayStation’s booth will be two new games:
Ghost of Yotei (PS5) – Developed by Sucker Punch Productions, this is the first public demo of the highly anticipated title. Players will be able to explore Ezo just a week before its global release on October 2, 2025.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls (PS5, PC) – The latest fighting game from Arc System Works, which already impressed audiences at EVO. The game will also enter a closed beta on September 5, giving even more players an early taste.
In addition to these titles, Astro Bot (PS5) will be available at the Family Game Park. Sony also confirmed that stage events will be live-streamed on YouTube, and more games will be announced as the event approaches.
Other Major Publishers at TGS 2025
PlayStation won’t be the only big name drawing attention. Koei Tecmo has confirmed playable demos for Nioh 3, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment.
Meanwhile, Level Infinite, Tencent’s global games brand, is bringing Monster Hunter Outlanders, Exoborne, Delta Force, and Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. As per the official press release, Monster Hunter Outlanders will make its world gameplay debut at the show.
Not to be outdone, Nexon will host a standalone booth for The First Descendant. The booth will feature themed experiences, cosplay events, and a live broadcast on September 27. The showcase coincides with the game’s one-year anniversary, celebrating its strong global launch last year.
Tokyo Game Show 2025 runs September 25–28, 2025.
