VOID Interactive’s tactical first-person shooter Ready or Not has been a standout release since its console debut in June, selling more than three million copies. Now, the studio is giving players who haven’t joined the action yet a chance to try it out with a free trial.

Shooter fans have had a packed year with titles like Battlefield 6, ARC Raiders, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 dominating headlines. Even with that competition, Ready or Not carved out its own space thanks to its uncompromising SWAT-style realism and intense team-based gameplay.
If you’re curious, the free trial is available starting today and runs for 90 days, ending on February 20, 2026. You’ll get three hours of total playtime, which is enough to get a feel for the tactical depth the game offers.
VOID Interactive confirmed that the trial is live on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, though PS5 players will need an active PlayStation Plus Premium or Deluxe subscription to access it.
Xbox players, on the other hand, can simply grab the trial from the Xbox Store without any extra requirements.
What makes this trial appealing is that all progress carries over if you decide to purchase the full game, so nothing goes to waste.
This announcement comes alongside a limited-time sale event. Starting Black Friday, Ready or Not will be discounted across all platforms, 20% off on consoles and 40% off on PC. According to VOID Interactive, the sale will run concurrently with the trial period, giving players a chance to test the game and then pick it up at a lower price. At the time of writing, the game is listed at around $39.99, down from its usual $49.99 on both platforms.
