The 2025 Roblox Innovation Awards wrapped up in style this past Saturday at the San Jose Civic Theater, honoring some of the platform’s most creative minds and standout experiences.

This year’s ceremony saw fan favorites like Grow a Garden and 99 Nights in the Forest walk away with multiple top honors.

Part of the 11th annual Roblox Developer Conference (RDC), the RIAs were hosted by Justin Sousa — better known to the Roblox community as “JParty” — and opened with remarks from Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki.

Top Winners and Standout Creators

Grow a Garden emerged as the night’s biggest winner, taking home four major awards — Best New Experience, People’s Choice, Builderman Award, and Most Concurrent User. Launched on March 25, 2025 by developer The Garden Game, it’s a free‑to‑play multiplayer simulation/tycoon experience where you run your own virtual farm. The game isn’t just popular — it’s breaking records. According to Roblox stats, Grow a Garden has achieved the highest concurrent player counts in video game history, peaking at 22.3 million players online on August 23, 2025. Earlier peaks included over 16 million concurrent users on June 21, surpassing Fortnite’s all‑time record of 15.3 million.

99 Nights in the Forest also had a stellar showing, winning Best Adventure Experience and Best Horror Experience. Developed by Grandma’s Favourite Games, the game blends classic survival mechanics (base‑building, crafting, resource gathering) with horror elements inspired by folklore. You’ll encounter mysterious events, ritual sites, and hidden collectibles like the Owl and the Gem of the Forest. Since its launch on March 3, 2025, 99 Nights in the Forest regularly sees over 1 million concurrent players, making it one of the platform’s top survival titles.

On the creator side, Yourius was awarded Best UGC Creator. This Dutch Roblox developer and User-Generated Content (UGC) creator joined the platform in November 2008, earning a strong reputation for crafting detailed 3D models and highly sought-after avatar accessories, many of which are sold through his UGC groups such as Eternos Digital, NINET9 Clothing, SVDDEN, and ANGVLI.
